The design process can feel daunting to many but I am there for you from the initial consultation to the final installation. Good design focuses on thoughtful space planning with an understanding of how the house should function. I am committed to looking at the bigger picture, as well as the details that make your home uniquely tailored to your needs.

My design philosophy can be described as client-focused in style and budget with a passion for making the experience both fun and creative. I work as an interior designer in the DC Metro area, including Maryland, Northern Virginia and DC proper.

My Creative design process is messy and marvelous. If you’ve ever watched a popular television program that portrays Interior Designers executing a design project, you have marveled at the immaculate workspace they create to house their tools of the trade. Let’s just say that my design space resembles my 14-year old son’s room after he has engaged in a frenzied safari searching for the only acceptable t-shirt in his stash of hundreds.
Let’s face it, kids are cute, but they can be messy and a little hard on the home at times. With children playing tag in the living room and trails of goldfish crumbs around the house, the fear of maintaining a newly styled home is real. With proper planning and design, you can still design your dream home with kids!
The quality of custom upholstery pieces may be higher but in a living room where the space has less traffic, the type of frame construction isn't as significant. Read more for some of my most recent favorite stock items that are not custom and can be ordered "as is".
As an Interior Designer in Maryland, which includes the entire DC Metro area, I am consistently and perpetually challenged by the amount of time interior design, renovations, space planning, and basically every part of the process, will and should take.
